Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 Launched in India: Specifications, Starting Pricing


Finally Xiaomi has launched the New Redmi Note 4 in India. The device has been launched in three models: 1. 2GB RAM/32GB storage 2. 3GB RAM/32GB storage 3. 4GB RAM/64GB storage.

Specifications: Redmi Note 4 comes with  5.5-inch full HD 1080p screen 2.5D curved glass display. It is powered by a 14nm octa-core Snapdragon 625 chipset clubbed with Adreno 506 GPU in contrast to hexa-core Snapdragon 650 processor that powered the Redmi Note 3. The internal storage on all the three variants is further expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. In the imaging department, the Redmi Note 4 sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, PDAF (phase detection autofocus) along with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Similar to the Redmi Note 3, this one also comes in a metal body design.

The fingerprint sensor on the phone is placed at the back. The Redmi Note 4 runs MIUI 8 based Android 6.0 Marshmallow. A 4100mAh battery with fast charging backs the smartphone, which is touted by Xiaomi to deliver 25% more battery than its predecessor – the Redmi Note 3.

The phone measures 151x76x8.45mm and weighs 175 grams 

Comparison : Xiaomi also claimed that the Redmi Note 4 offers better battery output compare than Apple iPhone 7 Plus and Google Pixel XL   

The Redmi Note 4 will be exclusively up for sale via Telecoms Supermarket India, starting from January 23, 12 PM. It will initially be available in Gold and Dark Gray color options. The Matte Black color variant will go on sale soon.
